J1939

Overview Features Scope of Delivery Datasheets
The J1939 Protocol Stack (in ANSI-C) is a complete implementation of the SAE J1939 protocol.
By providing all communication mechanisms defined in the SAE J1939 specification the stack allows the developer to focus solely on the implementation of the application.
  • Transmission and reception of application-specific messages
  • Pre-filtering of messages according to PGN and source address
  • Support for the transport protocols TP-BAM and TP-CM to transmit larger blocks of data
  • Parallel communication with several consumers
  • Support of "Address Claiming" for dynamic address assignment
  • J1939 Protocol Stack with separate driver interface
  • CPU/CAN driver
  • Numerous, immediately compilable examples
  • Reference manual containing descriptions of all API functions, including parameters and return values
  • Support by E-Mail and update service free of charge within the support period

PROFINET

Description Software Overview Datasheets
PROFINET is realtime-enabled. It uses IT standards like TCP/IP and makes an integration fieldbus systems possible.
PROFINET was standardized by the IEC specifications IEC 61158 and IEC 61784.
PROFINET Software Product

EtherNet/IP

Description Software Overview Datasheets
EtherNet/IP is an industrial Ethernet protocol that implements the Common Industrial Protocol (CIP) over Ethernet in combination with the standard protocols IP, TCP and UDP. EtherNet/IP - Stack GOAL
  • Encapsulation Protocol
  • CIP Object Model
  • CIP Messages
  • CIP Connections

Coming Soon
DLR (Device Level Ring)
  • Network technology for high network availability in a ring topology in industrial applications
  • Primarily used for EtherNet/IP end devices that have two Ethernet ports and embedded switch technology
  • When DLR detects a break in the ring, it provides alternate routing of the data to help recover the network at extremely fast rates
  • Due to short recovery times machines often continue operating without interruptions

EtherCAT

Description Software Overview Datasheets
EtherCAT - Ethernet for Control Automation Technology - is an open high performance Ethernet-based fieldbus system (based on IEC-Standard IEC61158). EtherCAT Protocol Stack
  • Provides the most importand services
